Two men are in hospital after a sky-diving accident near Barwon Heads on the Bellarine Peninsula.
A spokesperson for Skydive Australia has confirmed that the two experienced solo jumpers collided as they approached the landing, sustaining “serious but non-life threatening injuries”.
The professional skydivers collided and fell 20 metres to the ground as they were coming in to land in a paddock at dusk, Channel Seven reports.
A 24-year-old Melbourne man was flown to The Alfred hospital with concussion and bruising.
A 30-year-old man from the UK was taken to hospital in Geelong with a fractured ankle and compression fractures.
“Both men are in good spirits and recovering well,” said the spokesman.
Skydive Australia has confirmed that an investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
