A pretty uneventful day for me yesterday as I woke up too late to enjoy some fun SUP foiling conditions in the morning.
3am significant buoy readings
2.2ft @ 14s from 157° (SSE)
2ft @ 14s from 164° (SSE)
There is southerly energy (probably angular spreading) at a couple of outer buoys. South shore should have waves in the waist high range.
8.5ft @ 11s from 35° (NE)
5.8ft @ 10s from 12° (NNE)
The NNE energy coming from the fetch of October 6/7 is here. Today it might be all about SUP foiling for me.
Wind map at noon shows light onshores everywhere.
No fetches today in the North Pacific, so I circled the lovely area of no wind that surrounds us. Better enjoy, because we’re about to get slammed by some really strong and long lasting trades in a week or so.
