A shortboard session for me yesterday. Even though Honolua was not even remotely as glorious as the day before, it was still fun. Plus, we don’t know if it’s gonna break again this season, so I had to get a last session down.
Meanwhile, at Hookipa the windsurfers still had some solid size waves to play with. Photo by Jimmie Hepp from this gallery.
5am significant buoy readings
No indication of southerly energy at the buoys, the Surfline forecast calls for 2f 15s.
7.9ft @ 9s from 51° (ENE)
NW energy almost completely gone, it’s all about the windswell today and it will be so until at least Thursday. The trades are going to be pretty strong too, so it’s going to be difficult to find clean waves on the north shore.
