Not all American Express cards are targeted for each offer, so you’ll need to head to this page and select the merchant you are interested in. You can log into American Express and see if any of your cards are targeted for the offer. If you have multiple cards with the same offer, note that you can only register one card, so choose wisely if you go this way!
There is a way that you can add the offers to multiple American Express cards, but it’s a bit more work. You’ll have to log into your American Express account as normal and pull up the offers page for each of the credit cards. Once you have the offers page open for all of the cards you want to add the offer to, you can add to each card just by clicking through the tabs. It’s important that you have the offers loaded for each card before you start doing this because if you add the offer to a card it will no longer show up when you load the offers page again.
I get a lot of use out of American Express offers over the course of the year, but none of these 2X offers are overly exciting to me because they’re not stores that I shop at often. There’s a chance that I could be doing some shopping at Target, Best Buy, and Williams-Sonoma before the holidays, so I’ll probably add those to my cards just in case.
What do you think about the opportunity to earn 2 Membership Rewards points per dollar spent at these select stores through the end of 2016?
